Here at FHM we can't legally encourage you to do drugs. Actually, I'm not entirely sure if that's true. I'll ask have to ask management later on, so let me rephrase—"Here at FHM, we're not sure if we can legally encourage you to do drugs, so at no point during this article am I going to tell you to do drugs." Got it? Good. Let's carry on.
What you choose to put or not put in your body is entirely up to you. It's like the eating Mc'Donald's debate, it's not for everyone. I know people who cringe at the idea of a Big Mac while others would willingly mainline a Mc'Flurry if given the chance.
When it comes to Mc'Donald's, I'm game, but speaking candidly, the idea of a substance altering my state of mind for 8-12 hours is terrifying. I'm generally an anxious person by nature, so knowing me, my trip would involve all 10-12 of my biggest fears (I have 20 in total) culminating in one nightmare-like scenario that ends with me trying to ward off evil spirits with a flaming tree branch. I promise that never happened despite the vivid details, I've just really thought about this before.
All that being said, I both understand and support people's decisions to partake in the art of dropping acid (even though it's illegal—I have to say that), I just think when it comes to drugs, you should be as well-informed as possible.
It's one thing to know how a substance is going to make you feel, but knowing what it does to your brain physically and chemically is a whole other ball of wax. Some recreational users do their research, while others don't know jack-all. For the latter, you're lucky that platforms like YouTube exist. You don't even need to pick up book! The brainiacs over at AsapSCIENCE will tell you everything you need to know about LSD/Acid.
