The producers of Hot Girls Wanted (Rashida Jones, Jill Bauer, Ronna Gradus, and Brittany Huckabee) are back with another installation of the critically acclaimed Netflix documentary into the world of porn, cam girls, and everything in between.
The "sequel" titled Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On will be a six part anthology series. Meaning it will be presenting the same story from several different angles. We can assume the perspectives will be from that of the talent, the agents, the directors, and the consumers of the porn.
Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On premiered yesterday at the Sundance Film Festival and it's arriving on Netflix on April 21st.
The original documentary received an 82% on Rotten Tomatoes and was an incredibly insightful look into the world of amateur pornography (females 18-21 years old). It was in no way a documentary meant to arouse or please the viewer in any capacity. It offers a very raw, somewhat saddening look into what goes on behind the scenes in a world very few people get to see, let alone experience.
