In addition to being one of the world's top soccer player and international playboy, Cristiano Ronaldo is praised for his ridiculous physique, which, as my girlfriend just said, "makes him look like a Ken doll."
While neither you nor I will ever look as cut up and lean as Cristiano is, at least we can learn a few of his workout tricks!
That's because, at the launch of CR7 Crunch Fitness—a fitness chain of his in Madrid, Spain—the soccer star was asked about what he does in order to get his rock hard abs, with someone wondering if there was any truth to the rumor he does thousands per day.
Here's what Ronaldo said, via Daily Mirror.
"I do them 4-5 times a week, but the minimum is 200-300."
"It’s about the maintenance. But you should try and avoid doing too many – when you do that you get a hernia or problems with your discs."
"They are the basic exercise, really good for the front and the back, but 3000? No, I don’t even do 3,000 a week."
So, while we've given you an ab routine to use that doesn't involve a single crunch or sit-up, according to Cristiano Ronaldo, hard work, dedication and the repetition of squeezing those things over and over can help you get the jacked up stomach he has—but don't expect it.
