Sometimes, you might get so into a film - let's say Die Hard, for example - that you decide to camp out overnight to get advanced cinema tickets.
Or, you might, say, become so obsessed with Die Hard that you feel compelled take out a full page advert in a popular magazine like The Hollywood Reporter to voice your plans for the sequel.
That sounds like a pretty niche idea, right? But that's exactly what happened. Eric D. Wilkinson, a (clearly) passionate independent film writer and producer, has pitched an entire plot for the announced prequel/sequel Die Hard: Year One.
This thing is mammoth. The full advert is posted above, with no images. Because he has a lot of ideas.
Essentially, the plot of Wilkinson's movie involved John McClane being sent to prison, a trip to Russia and a fair few flashbacks.
Now this is a movie we'd pay serious money to see.
