You know why I'm looking forward to September? Not for Football season, not for Fall weather, not for Pumpkin Spice flavored everything — but for these freakin' IT advertisements to finally stop! I'm not afraid of clowns by any means, but you best believe that the sight of Pennywise sends me cowering in the corner. I'm not joking, I have to actively remind myself that I'm 25 years old and he can't hurt me. He's easily the strongest source of nightmare-fuel I've ever seen. As per BroBible—
"In this cinematic VR experience, called It: Float VR, you get to virtually walk the streets of Derry as one of the characters in the book/movie, Georgie Denbrough. Oh yeah, you also get to visit the sewers, because why wouldn’t you, and get treated to seeing a bunch of red balloons and other stuff that’ll scare the crap out of you."
Hm, that essentially sounds like everything I don't want from a VR experience — there's no puppies, wizards, or dragons. What's the point, I ask you?! On top of that, it's terrifying. I know some of you get off on that scared to the point of near heart attack crap but nope, not for me, no thank you — do not pass go, do not collect $200.00. Anyway, you can check out all the sadistic, fear mongering below. IT hits theaters on Friday, September 8, 2017 — be sure to bring fresh underwear.
