How you ever wondered just how sexually active your college campus (or alma mater) really is? I mean, sure, you can keep track of how much sex you and your buddies are having through casual "bro-talk", but what about on a larger scale, say, scientifically? Is there a way not only to see how much sex is taking place, but even how safe that sex is?

If you haven given these questions some thought, you're in luck. Collegestats.org and DrEd.com teamed up to bring you some very important information.

"We conducted a survey of 2,000 current and former college students to take a snapshot of activity between the sheets on U.S. campuses. We learned about the frequency of intercourse, the most sexually active campuses, the average number of partners, and the use of protection."

Alright, 2,000 students is a pretty huge participant pool. Based on that, the knowledge garnered from this study is not only statistically accurate, but definitely something you should be bringing into the bedroom with you the next time you're in the mood.

First, let's see which campuses are working hardest on theirextracurricular activities:

So it seems The Big 3 are Temple University, Rutgers University (New Brunswick), and Texas A&M University. Congratulations kids, you're definitely getting an important education. Seriously, a healthy outlook on sex earlier on will set a positive tone for the rest of your life when it comes to relationships and intimacy. Students at these schools are sowing their wild oats while they can, as they should!

Now that we know which colleges are having the most sex, wouldn't it be beneficial to know if college students in general are practicing safe sex?

I know charts can be daunting, especially for those of us who are no longer in college, so to summarize what you're looking at above:

"Over 15 percent of respondents surveyed shared they never use a condom. Those who reported not using a condom also had close to 18 partners on average versus almost 13 partners for those who always use protection."

Well, college educated or not, that number alludes to a very uneducated demographic when it comes to condom use. Hopefully this study will lead to awakening among student bodies across the country. Remember: No glove, no love!
