Television is the one medium that needs to be fed on a constant basis in order for us to scratch the overwhelming itch we all get. It's a situation that can be made even more urgent by the sheer number of networks, cable channels and streaming services seeking out original content, which, quite honestly, can be a bit of a sensory overload at times.
The good news? The result is pretty damn good.
There are about 500 television shows in production per year—yeah, that's a lot—with that number constantly growing due to the demand we all have for content. And with all of the shows that have already premiered in 2017, there are so many more on the way.

As this DC/Vertigo Comics adaptation enters its third season, very little is known beyond the fact that the show seems to be moving into more serialized territory, and away from the brain-eating-of-the-week format that allowed Rose McIver's zombie to assume the personalities of the deceased to help solve crimes. The mythology is growing, and it's all becoming much more interesting.
