If someone asked you to choose the most dangerous drug, you'd probably pick something awful like heroin or meth, right?
Well, according to this study from 2010 a team of scientists—headed up by a Professor Nutt (no jokes please)—the drug you really need to watch out for is alcohol.
Thing is, science has defined 'dangerous' as the drug that's killed the most people, which means the decision to put booze at the top of the list starts to make more sense. They also considered factors like dependence, loss of housing or a job, injury, and related criminal activities.
