Beer is God's gift to humans to remind us that, yes, life can be fun and, no, it doesn't have to be full of stressful things like work, relationships and other anxiety-inducing crap.
And because we all love drinking beer—responsibly, of course—it's always interesting to discover where people do it the best! That's why the folks at SmartAsset decided to do some research and figure out which 25 cities in the United States are the best for beer lovers. Here are their results.
So, how did SmartAsset decide on the eclectic town of Asheville, N.C. as its top choice? The rankings were based off of the number of microbreweries per each city, the cumber of microbreweries per 100,000 residents, the amounts of bars per 100,000 residents, the average price for a domestic draught, and the average Yelp score of breweries in each city.
As someone who has a sister currently living in Asheville, I just have another reason why I need to make the cross-country trip for a visit—delightful beer!
