You know those windowless vans you see driving around and make you think to yourself, "well, that's creepy as hell?" Turns out a nonprofit mechanic repair program called WyoTech was so enamored with the style that they customized a 2016 Ford Transit Van into one—and it looks like the ultimate shaggin' wagon.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, WyoTech students, graduates and instructors paid tribute to the 1976 "Cruising Van" from an iconic 1976 Ford ad, with the auto company providing the van to WyoTech to support the project.
Featuring things like bubble side windows, a state-of-the-art audio system, and custom shag carpeting, the van also includes a 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbo engine, Gibson performance exhaust with custom-fabricated side pipes and 18” booster wheels, making it a modern ride with a vintage feel.
As it turns out, windowless vans aren't all created equal.
