Essex supermarket worker, Lee Nichols, is chasing his dream in Las Vegas as a dead ringer for Breaking Bad’s Walter White.
The 51 year old has been inundated with so many photo requests from fans of the AMC show that he is about to embark to the US to cash in fast.
The amazing similarity was enough to make the real Walter White – aka actor Bryan Cranston - pause for a cool photo op at the premiere of his new movie –Trumbo, in London earlier this year.
Fans of the hit TV show, which follows the lead character’s descent into the murky world of crystal meth production after being diagnosed with cancer, constantly stop Lee around his home town of Walton-The-Naze for a quick selfie.
Eyeing up the chance to cash in some real money – he has set up a look-alike business in the UK - Heisenberg’s Photographic Services – named after the character’s notorious alias.
He told the Daily Star; “I was reading about a bloke who looks like one of the actors from the Hangover film and I reckon he earns about $250 000 a year. He charges at parties so I thought I’d give it a go.”
The bloke that Lee was talking about is former restaurant manager, Thaddeus Kalinosk, who is living the high-life after transforming himself in to a doppelganger of Alan from The Hangover earning a quarter of a million dollars a year. The look-alike spends his days and nights in Las Vegas attending wild parties alongside celebrities and beautiful women - just like the movie character.
Now we know why Lee wants to go.
