When it comes to Health and Fitness, we have a mixed-bag of emotions. Sometimes, we're all for it! Bring on the cardio, bring on the weight-lifting and other times, especially when pizza is involved, it's hard to be motivated. The good news? Women actually don't mind Dad Bod, so, after reading the most searched workouts of 2017 you don't have to feel too bad about yourself.

It's safe to say that if you're at all into fitness, you've Googled at least one of these exercises in the past 11 1/2 months. Perhaps you succeeded at some! Then again, it's more likely you failed, and really, that's OK, guys. You win some, you lose some! Below we listed all of the terms, along with a corresponding YouTube video that can teach you WTF they're all about, because, if we're being honest, we're not entirely sure ourselves. We definitely didn't Google "inner thigh workouts" this year!

Workouts and Exercises

Murph crossfit workout

Anything involving the term "crossfit" has essentially become the "hipster" or pretentious workout that you really don't want to hear about, but you're forced to anyway.

Bungee workout

Uh, holy crap! Can we just say that this looks fun as hell? We're big fans when it comes to workouts that don't necessarily look like workouts.

Tabata workouts

Working out from home for 30 minutes? Yeah, we'll take it, but it also sort of reminds us of those "Tae-Bo" tapes our moms used to do back in the 90s.

TRX workout

Not going to lie, anything with an "X" in the name is usually super-intense. It's clear the people of 2017 aren't afraid of danger when it comes to their health and fitness — given the amount of danger that existed in every other arena of 2017, we're not surprised.

Burpees exercise

You'd think that with a name like "burpee" no one in the fitness community would take it seriously, but, apparently it's all the rage and after getting a glimpse of this video, it doesn't seem impossibly difficult.

HIIT workout routine

Piyo workouts

Anything with "beginner" in the description is A-OK with us. The best workouts are the ones that you gradually build on. Doing something beyond your capabilities might seem like a good idea in the moment, but in actuality, you're just going to end up stunting your results.

Inner thigh workouts

Ladies, if you were searching this under the pretenses that you need a "thigh gap" to be beautiful, that's a crock of sh*t — you don't!

17.2 workout

Yeah, this looks intense AF. We've come to notice that a lot of the more popular workout routines are about working as many body parts as possible all at once. The future is all about convenience and clearly, that's extended to the gym.

Oblique workout

Forget those biceps, triceps, and abs, guys. It's all about the obliques, right? Well, at least that's what these search results tell us, eye roll.

We sincerely hope that was enlightening to you guys. The best case scenario is that you found some residual #Fitspo to get in shape through the new year. To be fair though, if you want to spend the next 2 weeks eating like a garbage human, that's OK! Live your life the way you see fit.
