It's a pretty incredible headline, isn't it? It conjures up all sorts of images of Roadrunner speeding across a lake, or Dash from The Incredibles.
Unfortunately, it didn't quite go down like that.
See, he was running across tiny wooden planks that were floating on top of the water, which required incredible speed and balance, as the planks sunk as soon as he stood on them. Oh, and he beat his own world record of 110m.
So, while he's not exactly 'running on water and just water, nothing but water', it's still an amazingly impressive feat.
Kung fu films have shown us that monks are practically superhuman, and this guy comes pretty close.
