We know it's cliche as hell, but the old saying that "braking up is hard to do," is so true that it's not even funny. And, while it sucks to get your heart broken from a person who you've sacrificed for, loved and tried to make happy for a certain part of your life is difficult, being the one to call a relationship quits can be even more difficult. After all, no one wants to be labeled as the bad guy, right?
But, whether for better or for worse, there are rules to breaking up, guys. And, sorry, it's not as simple as sending a text message to your future ex and saying something like, "I'm just not feeling this anymore, I think it's time we move on."
When a relationship goes sour, sure, we'd all like to think ripping off the band-aid is the way to go, but there has to be communication and honesty before moving on. Closure is necessary—unless you're an A-hole, and we don't think you are.
