With the new Bond film Spectre soon to be released, the franchises’s official watchmaker Omega has unleashed two new special 007 timepieces to mark the occasion. And they’re as cool as Daniel Craig sitting in a fridge...
First up is the Seamaster 300 ‘Spectre’ Special Edition, below, a variation on the classic diving watch that’s served Omega customers since it was released in 1957. Boasting a NATO strap – i.e. a military-grade fabric one – it carries subtle Bond branding on the ‘lugs’, and has a bi-directional bezel (the click wheel around the case): just the ticket for divers wary of staying in the depths too long.
For those who prefer their watches bigger and more, well, metall-y, then let us acquaint you with the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m, below, which is not only waterproof to 150m but boasts an antimagnetic resistance of 15,007 Gauss (yeah, us neither).
Its royal blue dial is a reference to Bond’s family crest, while the yellow seconds hand – invaluable when someones trying to cut you in half with a laser – will make your impending
