Alone in the Dark
The enemy: Zombies. Fairly blocky, crudely-rendered-in-about-twelve-polygons zombies, but zombies nonetheless.
Weapon of choice: There’s only a handful of tools to see off foes with, since combat is based more around puzzle-solving than cap-popping. But when your brain fails you, grab the hunting rifle.
Brown trousers moment: This is the daddy of the survival horror genre. Meaning things with big teeth will inevitably jump through windows at you every ten minutes or so.
