FHM’s 100 Greatest Games of All Time

Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Year: 2007
Platform: Xbox 360, PS3

Why it’s a classic: Where to start? Unrivaled realism, incredible graphics and a multiplayer that’s claimed more relationships than domestic violence. A daring departure from the series’ WWII comfort zone and, with ten million sales and counting, a resoundingly triumphant one.

Best bit: It’s crammed full of too many memorable set pieces to mention, but the sniper mission that crops up halfway through the single player campaign is a solid gold highlight.
