FHM’s 100 Greatest Games of All Time

Posted by , 15 June 2009

Fantasy World Dizzy

Year: 1989
Platform: Commodore 64

Why it’s a classic: Even to this very day, few titles have fused platforming and role-playing in such seamless and downright charming fashion. Also, you play a happy egg who smiles and wears an awesome hat, and what’s not to like about that?

Best bit: Right at the start, fooling a troublesome rat blocking your path by chucking a load of bread at it. Then feeling genuinely clever. For all of a minute.
