The enemy: Just your bog-standard, faceless drones. The twist being that they’re all controlled by a faceless child apparition called Alma. And the first time she pops up in front of you like the girl out of The Ring, you’ll shit an actual brick.
Weapon of choice: Slow the action down with the game’s Matrix-esque ‘reflex time’ feature and take off limbs with precision shotgun blasts. Gratifying.
Brown trousers moment: Seamlessly stepping out of reality and into one of Alma’s ‘visions’. Which generally involve blood-splattered corridors and creepy, distorted laughter.
