Introduction
We’ll admit it – we’re sticking our necks out a tad here. Most of you won’t agree with our list. Some will swear, probably quite loudly. And a handful will already be hatching plans to attack us with some sort of sturdy gaming peripheral. But as far as we’re concerned, these are the 100 best games ever made. So there.
Avoiding the rose-tinting influence of nostalgia as much as possible, we’ve selected what we genuinely consider to be the most accomplished achievements in the last 30 years of digital entertainment. The games that gobbled up entire weekends, bruised countless thumbs and killed relationships stone dead. Don’t like our selection?
