FHM’s 100 Greatest Games of All Time

Posted by , 16 June 2009

Jet Set Radio

Year: 2000
Platform: Dreamcast

Why it's a classic: : An eclectic, unashamedly Japanese soundtrack and cell-shaded graphics play host to a colourful orgy of rollerblading and tag-spraying. Its influence on the more recent Tony Hawk games are clear to see, but a planned Wii-based sequel has been sadly canned.

Best bit: Flawlessly linking a series of ten grinds into a colossal combo, to the beat of some grammatically confusing J-pop noise pollution.
