Where? PS3; £45.

What's it about? This sci-fi first-person shooter is brought to you by the colours red and grey and the phrase ‘industrial wasteland’. The distressed visuals of war-torn Helghan are probably the best for any game ever, and the online multi-player’s spot on. Yet, still, Killzone doesn’t quite flatten rivals Halo and Gears Of War – with odd enemy intelligence glitches, annoying cover control moments and occasionally dull combat.
