Street Fighter IV
What’s it about? Chronologically, SF4 takes place sometime between the series’ second and third instalments. Not that the story is of any real relevance – this is pure beat-‘em-up action, and nothing else.
Coolest feature? The SF2 gang responsible for millions of failed GCSEs all make a welcome return. So look forward to beating seven shades of turd out of your foes with classic attacks like Chun-Li’s Spinning Bird Kick, Guile’s Sonic Boom and, of course, Ken and Ryu’s Hadouken fireball. In terms of new features, there’s new characters, online play and an awesome-sounding “revenge gauge”.
When can I buy it? It's out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in February.
