FHM’s 100 Greatest Games of All Time

The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Year: 1993
Platform: Game Boy

Why it’s a classic: By some kind of digital witchcraft, Nintendo’s boffins managed to squeeze more hours of gameplay into Link’s maiden monochrome adventure than you’ll get out of most modern console titles. Solve puzzles, slay bosses, repeat. Quite literally, magic.

Best bit: Get the timing right and you could rob unsuspecting shopkeepers of their tasty wares. Then get your elfish nuts fried when you went back to show off.
