Ten steps to the ultimate '60s bachelor pad

Posted by , 23 November 2009

Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, anything by Picasso with ‘Nude’ in the title. You can hang whatever you damn well please on the wall (especially if it’s abstract), but steer clear of photos that betray the fact you’re actually living in the 21st Century. You need to stick as close to an authentic ‘60s experience as possible. So avoid a life-size shrine to Mike Myers’s Austin Powers, and opt instead for album covers, original movie posters, concert flyers and band posters (The Who had some great ones). Oh, and anything to do with the space race.
