The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport has landed and Car magazine’s deputy editor Chris Chilton was there to welcome it to earth.

If all other cars were humans this would be the only superhuman on the planet. A 0-62mph time of a superbike-spanking 2.7 seconds. A deafening 987BHP, 8-litre, 16-cylinder engine with a grand total of 4 turbo-chargers. The agility of a car half its weight and the looks of a spandex clad Olympiad. Basically, no mere mortal car can touch it, and it doesn't even have a roof. Just a weird umbrella type thing.

Worth the £1.6m price tag then? Let us know your thoughts, but first curse the lucky git above who got to hoon around Europe in it for free...
