Why’s it good?
Festivals are looming and keeping a phone alive means either queuing for hours to get a five minute charge or pimping your drunken self out for a few minutes on a neighbours’ mobile. There is an alternative.
The Solio Universal Charger uses the sun to charge a tent full of different devices. Not only can you fully charge your phone or mp3 player twice, but leave it out for an hour and you have another 40 minutes of playtime, ad infinitum. It even includes a plastic suction thing so you can stick it to your window to harness the sun’s rays. Not a lot unlike Superman, just slightly less spandex covered.
Why it’s not so good:
The iPhone adapter only works on models that aren’t 3G unless you invest in a special adapter.
