What? Sex addict Victor Mancini (Sam Rockwell) has a genius method of raising funds – pretending to choke in expensive restaurants. A rich target whips out the Heimlich manoeuvre, saves Victor, and feels so touched they send him big fat cheques to see he’s alright. When he’s not fleecing wealthy foodies, he works at a theme park, visits his mother and generally has a lot of sex.

Why? He’s a sex addict, which is fascinating enough, frankly. At what point do you become addicted to sex? Aren’t we all? How do you go about getting enough sex to become addicted? That sounds… interesting. It’s also based on a novel by the same guy who wrote Fight Club (Chuck Palahnuik), a film universally regarded by critics as “awesome”.
