They say: The gang investigate the dastardly plans of yet another 'masked' villain. This time the pesky no-gooder is trying to take control of the city with the help of some Scooby Doo classic foes. Along the way they encounter a mysterious museum curator (Seth Green) and a nosy reporter (Alicia Silverstone).
We say: Yes, we know it's a kids flick. But the box office success of the first film was always going to guarantee a sequel - despite the fact it was worse than a John Leslie-filmed smut movie. There is a story in there somewhere, but basically, it's a springboard for a series of impressive set pieces, gags and a handful of new characters. You'll be dragged along by the missus to watch it, so know this - by concentrating on the pant-stiffeningly gorgeous Alicia Silverstone and Sarah Michelle Gellar for the full 88 minutes, the time will just fly by.
