Tim Burton is a genius. However. You either love him or hate him. From Batman to Edward Scissorhands to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Burton is renowned for making the 'trippy films.' His unique and fairly bonkers productions have had mixed success over the years, but Burton never fails to create a stir, a feeling, that something is coming... something big, dark and loud and probably starring Johnny Depp.

Tim Burton unveiled the very first trailer for his 3D, gothic fairytale fantasy at a press conference on Thursday, and admitted that the film 'looks like a freakshow, doesn't it?' No change there then. Johnny Depp will (of course) star as the Madhatter, with Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. But what we're really excited about is Matt Lucas' turn as Tweedledee and Tweedledum. That will be amazing.
