Who?
Benicio Del Toro (Communistic)

What’s it about?
Ché Guevara and his pal Fidel Castro led a Marxist revolution in Cuba and his face ended up on some T-shirts. This is the story of how a boatload of guerrillas took over an entire country with some hooky rifles, a radio station and a load of peasants. It’s long (over two hours), but the superb photography makes it more like watching a really gripping documentary. Del Toro could swing an Oscar for his Stars In Their Eyes turn as Ché.

Movie bore:
This is the first part of what will be a four-and-a-half-hour monolith. The second part (Guerilla) deals with Ché’s failed revolutionary activities in Africa and Bolivia, and comes out in February.
