Hayden Panettiere (prom queen), Paul Rust (king geek).

What's it about?
A nerdy valedictorian (some American school thing) proclaims his love for the hottest and most popular girl in school – Beth Cooper (Panettiere) – during his graduation speech. Obviously she ends up going with him and the rollercoaster ride of his attempts to ride her begin.

What's good about it?
In a word, Hayden. The story itself sounds like another American Pie meets Girl Next Door style movie. This time it's written by Simpsons writer Larry Doyle and directed by the mighty Chris Colombus (Home Alone and Harry Potter), which is promising. For a mere cinema ticket price you get a huge Hayden big enough to block out all other images and thoughts about your otherwise benial existence. Cheaper than a psychologist then.
