Watchmen

What’s it about? Set against a dystopian New York City, this is the story of a group of masked vigilantes who start bricking it when one of their number gets thrown off a building. It’s based on the nerd-bible graphic novel of the same name and directed by 300 helmer Zack Snyder. All of which means this looks set to deliver style and substance.

Hottest star? Swedish actress Malin Akerman is set to be one of most Googled stars of the year. Largely thanks to the remarkably snug one-piece she dons to play Watchmen’s Silk Spectre II.

When? March 6. Hopefully.

everything apart from star trek, slumdog and bruno almost the worst comedy of 2009 dissapointed because sacha baren cohen is normally pretty hilarious
