Usually, when a band knocks out a B-side album it’s a half-arsed attempt to cash in on dwindling success. Not so with Feeder, who’ve managed to a whopping 36 tracks that didn’t make it onto an album.

Admittedly, the quality of some of the tracks is mixed – Home For Summer sounds like it took fifteen minutes to put together, and has generic lyrics that could make the eyes of even the most fervent Feeder fan glaze over. However, songs like the Pixies-inspired Emily and the bubble-gum-catchy Can’t Dance To Disco will leave the listener wondering why they were not singles, let alone album tracks.

This double-CD collection was originally a fan club-only release, but it’s definitely not just for the band’s devout followers.
