Eminem was always unlikely to see the funny side of having Bruno’s bare arse thrust into his face at the MTV Movie Awards last night. Unless, of course, the world’s nastiest ex-peroxide-haired bastard had gone and got himself a sense of humour and some expensive acting lessons prior to recording new album Relapse.
But let’s assume he hadn’t, because it makes Sacha Baron Cohen’s half-naked prank on Eminem look way better. Watch the video above to see Cohen, dressed as Bruno in a skimpy angel outfit, attempting to fly onto the stage to announce the winner of Best Male Performance. Then wince as the Ali G and Borat creator orchestrates a malfunction and falls face down into Eminem’s lap with his crack an inch from the rapper’s nose. Everyone goes mental. Big funnies. Bravo.
Was Eminem in on it? Or has he been merked? Answers below.
There are seven reasons we think Eminem was merked:
1) Eminem sounds properly angry when saying: “Are you fucking serious? Get this motherfucker off me man!”
2) The punches thrown by Eminem’s fat mates look pretty meaty.
3) Eminem looks spectacularly pissed off when he storms out of the room. He does not like the look of Bruno’s arse.
4) Zac Efron has no idea what’s going on when he’s told he’s the winner.
5) No one thought Jarvis Cocker showing his arse to Michael Jackson was staged.
6) We’ve all seen 8 Mile. Eminem gets 6/10 as an actor.
7) It’s funnier to believe in a good merk.
