Kasabian are the best thing to happen to Leicester since Walkers crisps were endorsed by Gary Lineker. We’re not sure why the dark prince of football punditry eating loads of salty snacks is good for Leicester but hell, it sounds good. Anyway, the heavily-bearded five-piece’s new one is called West Ryder Pauper Lunatic AsylumIt follows 2004's self-titled debut and 2007’s pounding Empire, and makes its mark with Serge Pizzorno’s familiar heavily distorted riffing and vaguely anthemic rock outs. It’s what turned them into Britain’s most exciting ‘band of the people’.

All we know is that lead singer Tom Meighan currently has better hair than he’s ever had. And now looks like an elegant ghost.
