It’s been more than a decade since multi-pierced dance mentalists The Prodigy perforated the nation’s eardrums with shouty chart-topper Firestarter. And now, slightly closer to a free bus pass but with no less enthusiasm for making packed venues go apeshit, they’re back.
The Essex trio release fifth studio album Invaders Must Die on February 23. It’s taken them fully two years to record, and boasts input from the Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and James Rushent from Does It Offend You, Yeah?. Above is Omen, the second single to be taken from the new album. And below, 1997 feminist-upsetting hit Smack My Bitch Up.
