Public Enemies

The bandits: A particularly well-dressed mob of mobsters, led by Johnny Depp’s legendary stick-up artist John Dillinger and flanked by brilliantly named gangsters such as Baby Faced Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd.

The loot: Multiple swag bags of cold, hard American dollar, at the height of America’s Great Depression.

The plan: Walk in the front entrance of chosen bank in broad daylight, knock a few heads together, fire off some Tommy Guns, sweet talk a beautiful woman, get out. In one minute and thirty seconds flat.

Does it work? Like clockwork. Dillinger even told one punter who was emptying his pockets: “We don’t want your money, mister. Just the bank’s.”
