Masterchef

It’s strange to think that when Masterchef was initially on TV from 1990 to 2001 it was fronted by the curious-tongued Lloyd Grossman and was watched by tired mums on Sundays. But now, professional fat men John Torode and Gregg Wallace have managed to ramp it up to something nearing gladiatorial encounters, and the introduction of Michel Roux Jr for Masterchef: The Professionals injected an element of Michelin-starred class to compliment Wallace and Torode’s steakhouse musings.
