Peep Show
With hardly a bum note in any of its six series, Peep Show is in with a good shout of being the programme of the decade, let alone this year. The way David Mitchell, Robert Webb and writers Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain keep finding jokes to wrap around the premise of two messed up dudes living messed up lives is monumental. And the groundbreaking technique of letting the viewer hear each character’s thoughts is yet to tire. A resilient work of (possibly) genius.
