Little did we know that the seeds of Simon Cowell’s world domination were actually planted in the ‘90s TV quiz show Sale of the Century. Here are some interesting things:

1/ He’s already very comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
2/ He’s had a lot of work done on his teeth.
3/ He looks like he’s been on a strict cheeseburger-then-gym diet ever since this programme.
4/ It took a lot of dedication an imagination to perfect his bouffant-with-a-centre-parting look.
5/ He used to be a charmer.
6/ He clearly had to work hard on becoming the man he is now.
7/ Even though he wins Sale of the Century, he doesn’t do very well in the current affairs round. IDIOT.
