Words: (Whispered) “Maxell: Break the sound barrier.”
Trivia: After appearing in this ad, Bauhaus frontman Pete Murphy bought the house that appears in the final frame, and slowly starved to death because he couldn’t stop making compilation tapes. They just sounded too incredible. Friends would go round and cook meals for him, but he’d always just throw them at the wall and shout: “You can’t fucking listen to this, though, can you?”
