Trivia: The man dancing around in the country manor in this hyper-active advert was homeless and insane when they cast him, but had a tremendous time in his twilight years blowing his Wine Gum money on cheap whores, cheap Scotch whiskey and a house made entirely of fruit flavoured chewy sweets. "It was the least we could do," said the chief executive of Maynard's.
