Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street: Are Bert and Ernie gay? It's difficult to tell. Certainly Sesame Street never made a big deal out of their sexuality - and no matter which team they bat for, it would have been a bit weird to push that to the foreground of a kid's show - but, well, the signs are there.
They live together. They never mention their girlfriends - they might not have girlfriends, but still. They take baths together. It could be that they're just incredibly good friends (and a little short on water, perhaps) or they could be in love... or both, and their apartment is jam-packed with repressed sexual tension around the clock, every brushed felt hand fizzing with the spark of potential passion.
Whichever is true, they're certainly progressive little chaps, so we're all for them. Plus they're made of felt, and easier to clean in a washer/dryer combo than humans.
