What is it?
The 50th anniversary of Carnaby street becoming a place worth going to shop is this weekend, which means that plenty of brands will be celebrating. Merc in particular have produced a limited edition polo shirt that you can only buy from the Carnaby Street store
What's good about it?
Rather than shouty 50th anniversary branding, Merc have simply added the date 1967 under their regular logo on the T shirt's chest. Yes, that's right maths fans, 1967 wasn't 50 years ago, but it was the date that Javid Alavi opened his first Merc store on Carnaby Street. So there.
What's bad about it?
There's only 400 t shirts going on sale, and, as usual, you'll have to come down to London to get one. In the meantime have a look at Merc's website www.merc.com
