Morecambe and Wise
There’s several comic acts we could have chosen to include here: maybe The Two Ronnies, perhaps Vic and Bob... probably not Hale and Pace. Pulling off the straightman/ funnyman bit is harder than it looks.
However, it’s Morecambe and Wise who make the list through sheer glorious stupidity, fantastic timing, wicked puns, amazing set pieces involving Angela Rippon, and the best use of grapefruits we’ve ever seen. You'll never be able to eat one for breakfast again - but, to be fair, they're awful, so you probably shouldn't eat them anyway.
