What is it?
Stone Island's Ice jacket. Essentially a much cooler version of the Global Hypercolour t shirts that were around in the 90's, the liquid crystal coating on the jacket changes colour when it gets cold. The technology for this was originally thought out by Stone Island founder Massimo Osti and has been revamped by the designers for 2009.

What's good about it?
The liquid crystal gives the jacket a very cool finish and having seen it up close, we can testify that it's as warm as a duvet. Not great at the moment but in 3 months time it'll be freezing outside and the coats will have sold out.

What's bad about it?

Not much, but at £775 it's not exactly cheap.
