What is it?
Nike's newest basketball performance shoe, the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse.

What's good about it?

Bods at Nike have spent years (possibly) developing a new material that offers the support of a leather upper with the breathability and lightweight properties of mesh. Finally, they've accomplished it. This new shoe, the Hyperfuse, is made from a single piece of mesh, fused together with three other fabrics to give it enough strength and stability to be used as a basketball shoe without weighing a ton.

You wanna know what else is good about it? We'd go as far as to say this is the best looking basketball performance shoe since the Jordan 3 (excluding the Jordan 5 and the Spizike, obvs). There we go, we've said it and we're not taking it back.

What's bad about it?

Not much, just that they're not out until mid August, but that's only a week away, so stop crying.

The Hyperfuse will be put through its paces on the court at the Nike World Basketball festival which is taking place in New York from tomorrow, August 11th. They're going to be building a court in Times Square for God's sake. That's like laying a football pitch in Piccadilly Circus. they'll also be welcoming the best basketball teams in the world (note England's absence...)
