Donald Bradman gets a duck in his final innings

When? During the 2005 Ashes series, which as you’ll recall was one of the greatest moments in England’s sporting history.

Where? At an unidentified cricket ground before an unspecified Test match, Brett Lee was walking along looking all cocky and Australian when he was confronted by a man in a hat who wanted to shake his hand.

What happened? The man in a hat who wanted to shake Brett Lee’s hand lunged at the fast bowler like he really really wanted to be his friend. Brett Lee treated the man in a hat’s approach with a nonchalant ‘this happens all the time’ aura, so when the man in a hat pulled his hand away, put it to his nose, wiggled his fingers and stuck his tongue out, Lee didn’t know what to do. So he cuffed him, in that ‘I’M ONLY HAVING A FUCKING LAUGH MATE’ kind of way that Australians enjoy.
