Day two of the festival and it’s ‘ladies day’, named in tribute to the late queen mother…but also secretly because it tends to attract loads of tweed-clad hotties in massive hats and dresses that are useless against a passing breeze.

There are seven races in total, with the big race of the day being the Queen Mother Champion Chase at 3.20pm. Of the four days, it is usually Wednesday that produces the higher priced winners so put your money in the right place and you could do very well.
